Upon deciding to work together, we will come to an agreement and sign a contract.

A Doula provides emotional support, knowledge and experience around natural birth and birth physiology and together we can explore topics as and when they come up for you, looking at evidence based studies and materials to help you to come to the best decision for your birth. A doula does not make decisions for you, offer medical advice or diagnosis or in any way tell you what you should do.

Doula is not a regulated profession, and so I have joined Doula UK and am part of their recognition program. I am a member of Foyht, the association for professional therapists and practitioners. As stated above I am insured for the work that I do with BGIuk via Foyht, so you can be confident in hiring me as your doula. I engage in continuous professional development to up skill, refresh and stay in the forefront of all things birth and beyond.
